Many policies and programs that aim to support persons with disabilities are often developed without sufficient evidence about the real experiences and needs of women and girls living with disabilities. As a result, interventions may fail to address the barriers they face in accessing healthcare, education, economic opportunities, and social participation.
Our research and knowledge development efforts seek to bridge this gap by generating reliable data and insights that inform inclusive policies and programs. Through community-based research, surveys, program evaluations, and collaborative studies, we document the lived realities of women and girls with disabilities and identify practical solutions that can improve their access to services and opportunities.
We also work closely with academic institutions, researchers, practitioners, and policy actors to strengthen the evidence base for disability-inclusive development. By sharing research findings through publications, policy briefs, public discussions, and knowledge platforms, we contribute to informed decision-making and encourage the adoption of inclusive policies and practices.
Innovation is also central to our work. We support the exploration of new ideas, tools, and approaches that improve rehabilitation practices, strengthen community support systems, and enhance inclusive program design. By integrating research with innovation and practical implementation, we aim to develop scalable solutions that respond to emerging challenges affecting women and girls with disabilities.
Through research, knowledge sharing, and collaborative learning, we strive to ensure that programs and policies addressing disability inclusion are informed by evidence, guided by lived experiences, and designed to create lasting impact.
